What We Do

 

We go into businesses to turn around or significantly improve performance of the company. Our assignments range from major performance improvements to the most challenging of turnarounds.

Our Partners have strong records in turning underperformers or lossmakers into profitable businesses.

We execute the turnaround rather than being just report writers. We have significant management and full P&L / cash flow responsibility experience in turnarounds and corporate roles.

RiVO Partners encompasses the complementary skill profiles of Turnaround Managing Directors, Finance Directors and hands-on Management Consultants (as well as HR and Marketing experts). The MD leads the turnaround of the operations whilst the FD addresses cash flow and financing. The management consultants act as Restructuring Officers to identify major improvement opportunities and drive the restructuring of key areas. We can either partner with existing management as turnaround specialists, or take interim executive management roles during the assignment.

In assessing the business, we combine analytical rigour with sound executive judgement to balance getting the right decision and stakeholder buy-in against time constraints.

We have primary sector experience in aerospace, automotive, chemicals, education, electronic & electrical, manufacturing, media & marketing, process industries (incl. printing), and technology.

We believe in our impact and prefer a partnership approach where incentives are aligned; so we are prepared to accept a significant portion of RiVO Partners’ pricing as a success fee.

We have experience across the range of improvement levers, and focus on those most relevant to the business - addressing revenue, cost, operational, financial and strategic issues as appropriate.
